4.2

CAPA

This release is not backwards compatible and requires firmware with version 4.7 or higher. Please use the Firmware Updater to update the firmware.

  • New and updated features
    • An estimation figure of the ongoing 3D print is shown, 3D live view
    • Collision checker
      • When there is a collided file, a button will appear on the list item. The user can click on it to get a dialog showing the items that the file collides with.
  • Bug fixes

    • Movement in the Navigation Tool will be blocked while drop or pick procedure is in progress
    • The Choose Probe phase of the Prepare System workflow is repeated only if the probe was dropped
  • Other

    • 3D view dialog box is improved
    • The help lines on the video feed are always present during gripping
    • Dynamic content height. The content height depends on the height of the printed structures
    • The Print History files can be stored. The data from print history will be stored separately for every user
    • The version number is presented in the top left corner

This release is not backwards compatible and requires firmware with version 4.6 or higher. Please use the Firmware Updater to update the firmware.

  • New and updated features
    • A separate tool called Print History (it is placed in the bottom-left corner)
      • The processed print files are present there
      • Offset measurement (3D Printing calibration) is made possible through this tool
    • 3D Printing workflow is changed
      • While a 3D print is in progress, the files that are not currently being processed can be deleted
      • Processed printfiles are moved from the 3D Printing workflow to the Print History tool
    • The camera settings are automatically changed on entering and leaving the Fill Probe part of the Prepare System workflow
    • Parameters in 3D Printing and Mapping workflows are changed
    • When the user tries to perform a movement while the stage is not initialized, a popup will be shown that will guide the user towards stage initialization
    • Visual changes in the status bar
  • Bug fixes
    • Scrolling problem in the 3D Printing workflow
    • While a crosshair is present and dragged, the photo that is shown on the inside of it is updated over time.
    • In the Navigation Tool, the points that are not in the boundaries of our movement capabilities will not be available for picking
  • Other
    • Maintenance schedule is updated to better suiting intervals
    • 3D Printing Calibration workflow is removed
    • The PostgreSQL database is not required by CAPA anymore
    • The user can turn on/off maintenance mode from the bot settings in CAPA
    • The Print log is expanded, the type of the ionink used and the deposition potential are added

  • New features

  • Other

    • In the left port, only probe plate and well plates are available for loading. In the right port, only calibration plate and printing chambers are available for loading.
    • Error handling is improved in the Calibrate XY (Stage) and Calibrate XY (Head) workflow
    • In the Calibrate XY (Stage) workflow, after moving to the reference position, the probe will be set to content height
    • Movements while aligning laser are limited from 1 to 1000 micrometers
    • After the mapping is done, the probe is retracted by safety retract distance
    • After automatically maximising the signals (in the Prepare System workflow) the signals will be presented in different colours
    • Dragging is disabled in some parts of the the Calibrate Pixel Size workflow
    • No-go area is activated when the Mapping workflow starts
    • For running CAPA 4.0, .NET 5 must be installed (if not already present)
    • The probe is fully retracted when the wash is aborted (in the Head Nose Wash workflow)
    • If the wash tool is closed while a wash procedure is in progress, the wash procedure will be aborted (it will not run in the background)
    • New parameters are added (in the 3D Printing, 3D Calibration, Mapping workflows) and the parameters are split in: parameters and advanced parameters
    • The items from the postgres database will be transfered to a new XML database and deleted

  • New features

    • A warning is presented in case a specified number of days have passed since the last rail lubrication
    • An option to only drop the probe is available
  • Bug fixes

    • In the Calibrate pixel size workflow, the magnification cannot be set manually to zero
    • The Calibrate pixel size workflow cannot be completed if а lens is not selected
    • The plate editor can only create plates with features on them that are in the full range of the probe
    • In case the default plates are not present, the first available plates will be presented as default ones
    • During the Stage Calibration (XY) (fine) workflow, the offset is inverted (made in the correct direction)
    • Better error messaging is presented when the system is trying to move out of scope
    • Possible deadlocks during start-up and shutdown are removed
    • The zoom function does not affect the calculations during the Calibrate pixel size workflow
  • Other

    • The description of the status during the printing is improved
    • Extended error handling while gripping or dropping a probe
    • In the Prepare System workflow, the configuration of the probe cannot be completed if local specifications about the probe are not downloaded, or if local ones are not selected
    • Bigger cursors on the video feed have been added
    • In case the Bot fails to initialize, a dialog box enabling you to close the app will appear

    • Conversion options for deflection
    • Calibration offset has been replaced with internal probe offset

    • Activate result history list button initially

    • RecordLogFiles option in 3DP workflows targets all log files, not just deflection log
    • Tell user to go to a well instead of a sample in Go to Well action in Prepare System workflow

    • This resolves the issue which caused CAPA to hang during a shutdown

MATLAB apps

The MATLAB apps now require MATLAB 2020a to run.

  • Introduce context menus for both the VCG and the LogViewer
